The Kamie K Preston Hereditary Cancer Foundation was founded in 2015 to honor the memory of Kamie Preston, a courageous woman who lost her life to breast cancer associated with a BRCA1 mutation. Inspired by Kamie's legacy, her children established the nonprofit organization to raise awareness about hereditary cancers and support individuals and families affected by cancer-causing gene mutations.
What began as a small initiative has evolved into a community-centered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering high-risk individuals and advocating for research collaboration. From providing comfort to individuals recovering from surgery to our extensive genetic testing support, we work tirelessly to advance education and support for those at high risk of developing hereditary cancers.
At the Kamie K Preston Hereditary Cancer Foundation, we are committed to saving lives through empowerment and support. Our mission is to improve early detection and prevention, provide financial assistance for genetic testing, and offer educational and support resources.
